When the going gets tough,
I can get going with the best of them.
However, the difference would be I don’t intend to stop until I’m barefoot…swinging in a hammock…in Bali….
**** a true confession for Trifextra this weekend, in 33 words….ready to chuck it all to be a spelunker or something else that doesn’t always require wearing shoes to work****
What are these shoes you speak of?
~snicker~ seeing as I have feet a hobbit would be proud of (minus the hair, ick) I’m not sure I quite remember 😉
We have a “Word of the Day” each day in our Grade 5/6 classroom. “Spelunking” was one of our words just after Christmas. Can totally dig the Bali lifestyle. Thanks for a great post.
It’s one of my favorite words, because it really sounds kind of like it makes no sense 😉 thanks for reading, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
oooh – how much room is there in that hammock? 🙂
No worries, we can always make room 😉
That sounds serene ^__^
Ha, I’m still daydreaming about it two days after writing it 😉
I confess I might just join you with drink in hand.
Thank you for linking up! Please don’t forget to return for the voting!
I’m gonna need a bigger hammock, I think you’re the third and fourth coming along 😉
Ah, that’s not a confession – that’s good planning :)))
~snicker~ I guess the confession part comes in when I admit the kid, the dude, the cat and the lizard aren’t coming with me 😉
I really enjoyed this one. A familiar beginning that ends with a twist… not too much though, it is a hammock. 🙂
Ha, a hammock nap isn’t a hammock nap without at least one face plant 😉 thanks for reading k~, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Ah, a hammock in Bali sounds perfect. The only thing that would make it better is brownies 🙂
He he 🙂
Your little avatar picture looks like you know exactly of which I speak 😉
Hahaha, brownies translate to all cultures. You bring those and I’ll bring the sangrias, and we’ll try not to flip the hammock 😉 Too often…
Is it ok if I tag along?
Absolutely! Grab an extra hammock, we’ll sway and drink like ladies and solve the world’s ills 🙂
Nicely done. I’ll lose weight so that I can stow-away in your suitcase.
No worries, I usually just do duffle bags so you’ll be fine 😉 the more the merrier!
A. Men!
Right? Come with, you can be the beachcombers bard 🙂
